Hi! You're reading my blog, let's get to know each other closer! I gonna tell you a little about me. So, I'm Sandra. My home town is Conway. But it so happened that my parents just had to move quite often because of dad's work. We 'traveled' all over the country.
The longest period I spent in one school was three years. That was truly outstanding achievement for our family 'cause usually I hardly managed to finish a year and to pass my exams (if needed). But then we packed our few luggage and left for a new strange absolutely unknown place - again and again.
I bet that you think now like that: 'Poor girl must have hate all this stuff about packing things and going somewhere!' But - no! Yeah, I often had to part with my friends I was just getting attached to. I left places which had time to become favorite. Actually I gave up many things. But for all that I was fond of traveling. And still I am.
When I started to live without parents and moved to Memphis to enter the college I simply couldn't sit at one place for so many years - so it seemed to me. I got pretty used to constantly be in motion. That's why college life was just intolerable for me.
Every summer I broke away and went abroad. Surely now I can't live without my suitcases at any time ready for a trip. I chose a job connected with it - my work makes me always be on the move (I'm a journalist). But through all these endless changes and almost for all my life I carried with me one little thing I can't already call even a hobby - for me it has grown into something more significant.
Perhaps it may seem to be childish but I mean karaoke. I have too many memories about it. Everything changed in my family's life - houses, cities, people... But the karaoke was with us all the time! We sang in any place. It was something that calmed us down and helped to relax - so necessary then! Also it was something to unite us, it let us be together whatever happened. My mom even was a musician, but with all these movings she had no chance to have a real piano to play. So the karaoke 'saved' us even here, we all liked to sing so much!..
So my family gave me two my favorite businesses - traveling and singing karaoke. I still adore both. A few years ago I noticed that I started to learn some remarkable and interesting facts about the karaoke. By now I've accumulated enough to begin sharing them with people. That's why I decided to put my thoughts and findings in order and to write a blog on the karaoke. So - welcome!
